About us

“Tour dem Parks, Hon!” is committed to the promotion and enjoyment of urban cycling and the parks of Baltimore.

  • The annual bicycle tour highlights Baltimore’s diverse neighborhoods, waterfronts, and parks.
  • All profits from the ride are donated to groups who promote cycling, the parks, and the environment.
  • We provide information and support for urban cycling to both experienced and novice riders.

Tour dem Parks is run by volunteers and is a nonprofit organization. The annual recreational ride has something for everyone, and is fun for riders of all abilities.

See the parks!

Baltimore’s 6,000 acre park system includes trails, green spaces, historic sites, gardens, woods, waterways, and sports facilities of all kinds.

See Baltimore’s history!

The Great Parks Movement influenced the design of Baltimore’s parks. There are also many sites of historical importance that range from the war of 1812 to the civil rights movement.

See Baltimore’s growing bike infrastructure!

Thanks to an active cycling community, Baltimore has a growing network of bike ways, trails, and programs for both commuters and recreational riders.

See the neighborhoods!

Each section of the city has its own history, culture, and even personality. Some neighborhoods are known for diverse architecture, ties to historic industry, restaurants, or art scene.

Meet parks and biking allies!

Rest stops are staffed by various local parks and friends groups and have mechanics from local bike shops – the people active in Baltimore’s parks and cycling communities.

Give back!

We donate any profits to Baltimore cycling, greening, parks, and environmental groups. Since 2003, TDPH has donated well over a quarter of a million dollars of unrestricted funds to local organizations for whom even modest sums make a huge impact.
